Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a motivated Transport Intern to support the Transport and Logistics team with daily coordination, administration, and compliance activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to transport operations, route planning, and fleet management within a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tAssist with daily route planning and load scheduling under supervision
\n\tCapture and update trip information including pick-ups, deliveries, ETAs and PODs
\n\tCommunicate with drivers regarding departures, delays, incidents, and delivery confirmations
\n\tPrepare and maintain transport documentation such as delivery notes, trip sheets and invoices
\n\tMonitor fleet utilisation and support reporting on KPIs and operational performance
\n\tSupport compliance processes including permits, vehicle files and SOP adherence
\n\tEscalate service issues, safety risks, and customer complaints to supervisors
\n\tProvide general administrative support to the Transport\/Logistics<\/p>\n
Skills & Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Transport Management
\n\tBasic computer literacy (MS Excel, Outlook, Word) with strong data capturing ability
\n\tStrong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette
\n\tAttention to detail with good document control practices
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
\n\tProblem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
\n\tTeam player with the ability to follow instructions and take feedback
\n\tBasic understanding of health and safety principles
\n\tInterest in transport operations, logistics and customer service<\/p>\n
