Primary purpose of the job:<\/p>\n
\tReporting to the Team Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to despatch finished goods and load Trucks according to customer requirements and company procedures.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tDespatch finished goods
\n\tLoad trucks
\n\tEnsure correct labelling of containers
\n\tEnsure that parts produced are despatched according to the FIFO system
\n\tEnsure that parts are loaded according to customer requirement
\n\tEnsure that loaded finished goods adhere to relevant safety regulations
\n\tEnsure weather conditions are considered when open stillages are loaded
\n\tEnsure forklift complies to safety and maintenance standards by performing pre-start checks<\/p>\n
Skills Required:<\/p>\n
\tUnderstanding of parts used in manufacturing
\n\tUnderstanding of stock controlling, warehousing and FIFO
\n\tInterpersonal skills
\n\tAbility to add and subtract whole and positive numbers
\n\tAbility to identify, describe and verbally report problems related to work activity<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tNQF level 4 qualification or Grade 12.
\n\tValid Forklift License
\n\tMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience as a forklift driver and logistics experience within an automotive environment<\/p>\n
