\tWe are on the lookout for an experienced\u00a0IT Technician\u00a0to provide support and maintenance of the WAN, LAN, network, computers, and peripherals and the resolution of all IT faults logged with the Helpdesk.<\/p>\n
As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tEnsures VCC site adheres to standards and policies.
\n\tMaintaining Safety standards in Department.

\n\tInvestigate, analyse and provide solutions to technical problems.
\n\tService and maintenance of all computers at KZN Forestry sites.
\n\tAssist in Maintenance of all network devices, peripherals and cabling.
\n\tAssist in the implementation of all new network equipment and upgrades.
\n\tEnsure all IT desktop equipment is efficient for required use and operational
\n\tAssist Implementation of Anti-virus software and other packages as required.
\n\tEnsure computers are patched with latest software patches to reduce vulnerabilities.
\n\tEnsure the team is involves in regional and global projects and that targets are met
\n\tPerform standby for all IT-related faults after normal business hours.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tPerform all tasks reasonably requested by the Senior IT Technician (Site Lead).<\/p>\n
What are we looking for?<\/p>\n
\tMatric coupled with MCSE \/ IT Diploma
\n\tMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience within a similar role \/ field or Internship at Sappi.
\n\tMust have a valid drivers license.\u00a0<\/p>\n
