Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tCarry out breakdown repair work on all plant and equipment.
\n\tCarry out planned and preventative maintenance schedules as required on equipment within the area of responsibility.
\n\tPerform planned shutdown work on plant and ancillary equipment.
\n\tContribute to the scope of work for planned maintenance activities.
\n\tIdentify potential reliability issues, and poor engineering practices, and take appropriate actions to rectify such deviations<\/p>\n
Problem-solving<\/p>\n
\tContribute to investigating and completing root cause & failure analysis on protracted\/recurrent breakdowns & failures.
\n\tProvide expert advice and guidance on problem-solving techniques to fellow workers.
\n\tAdhere to the company\u2019s escalation policy and procedure.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tRecord all maintenance data (downtime, spares, and improvement recommendations) on Shopware CMMS.
\n\tComplete checklists and take appropriate follow-up measures
\n\tProvide performance feedback through shift or task handovers as well as team meeting platforms<\/p>\n

\tHave at least 3 years of experience in processing plant machinery in an FMCG or manufacturing facility.
\n\tFMCG Plant Maintenance experience is essential.
\n\tExperienced and knowledgeable with pneumatics.
\n\tWorking experience in conveyance systems.
\n\tWorking experience in moulding and forming equipment.
\n\tExperienced working on gas-fired ovens will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tMatric essential
\n\tTrade-tested Fitter at an accredited training facility
\n\tMinimum of N4 Technical Qualification with Mechanical Trade Theory<\/p>\n
Additional Requirements\/Competencies:<\/p>\n
\tMust be able to work shifts
\n\tWelding, basic turning\/fabrication knowledge
\n\tGood fault-finding abilities
\n\tComputer literacy \u2013 Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail)
\n\tKnowledgeable in QMS, HACCP, and GMPs is an advantage
\n\tKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations<\/p>\n
