Your Duties and Responsibilities…<\/p>\n
MANAGING THE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND STATE OF REPAIR TO EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES<\/p>\n
Maintain and repair plant<\/p>\n
\tFollow preventative schedule for HVAC
\n\tCommunicate faults and action plans to CGM\/Ops and Regional MM
\n\tUse maintenance log in system on intranet for faults
\n\tAdhere to downtime as stipulated on intranet
\n\tBe hands on and repair faults where possible<\/p>\n
Maintain and repair premises<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with landlord\/contractors on issues\/repairs
\n\tBe hands on and repair and maintain where possible according to brand standards.<\/p>\n
Maintain and repair gym equipment<\/p>\n
\tComplete and fax\/email downtime reports to relevant contractors.
\n\tEnsure completion of preventative maintenance as per contractor stipulations
\n\tMaintain a history of equipment maintenance and preventative schedules
\n\tBe hands on, repair and maintain equipment according to brand standards<\/p>\n
Inspect club to establish daily maintenance tasks<\/p>\n
\tDo visual inspection via walkabout.
\n\tCheck job book, MOD checklists and fitness checklists.
\n\tCheck pool and enter results on pool log.
\n\tAction tasks as per brand standards RAP sheet.
\n\tFollow up all maintenance related issues on the Hey Manager cards.
\n\tSchedule tasks from preventative maintenance schedule.
\n\tLiaise with CGM\/Ops Manager on affects to operations in club.<\/p>\n
Ensure pool maintenance completed.<\/p>\n
\tEnsure pool checked and pool key readings recorded according to operating standards.
\n\tEnsure inspection of weirs conducted.
\n\tEnsure pool dosed according to readings.
\n\tEnsure backwashing falls within pressure parameters.
\n\tEnsure pool internal and external maintained and repaired to brand standards.
\n\tEnsure temperatures displayed.
\n\tLiaise with Ops\/CGM and RMM as required.
\n\tEnsure dosing systems do not run dry<\/p>\n
Manage health & safety requirements in the club<\/p>\n
\tManage your department to work within the health & safety requirements.
\n\tFamiliarise yourself with the OSH Act.<\/p>\n
MANAGING ACTION PLANS\/PROJECTS TO THE REQUIRED STANDARD\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAssist in ensuring that brand standards are maintained
\n\tConduct regular brand standard checks.
\n\tAssist in developing RAP.
\n\tAssist GM\/Ops to manage the RAP to conclusion.<\/p>\n
Manage projects to conclusion<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance to job specs.
\n\tEnsure work areas left in condition found.
\n\tManage contractor to adhere to health and safety standards.
\n\tLiaise with relevant parties.
\n\tSign off contractors job card on completion if satisfactory and quality checked.
\n\tFollow up on snag lists.
\n\tRefer snags\/issues to Regional Maintenance Manager.<\/p>\n
MANAGING MAINTENANCE PLANS & SUPPLIERS TO WITHIN BUDGET<\/p>\n
Ensure maintenance of Club is within budget.<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with CGM on budget constraints\/availability.
\n\tEnsure all repairs\/costs\/quotes to within budget.<\/p>\n
Control and maintain stock levels<\/p>\n
\tEnsure there is sufficient stock available at all times.
\n\tFollow e-procurement system with the assistance from CGM\/Ops using preferred suppliers and authorisation systems.
\n\tCheck quality and delivery of orders.
\n\tEnsure stock control systems in place.<\/p>\n
MANAGING THE MAINTENANCE TEAM TO ACHIEVE DESIRED RESULTS<\/p>\n
Manage team to achieve scheduled tasks<\/p>\n
\tPriorities and set timelines for team with tasks.
\n\tAdhere to quality control standards.
\n\tFollow up and check completed tasks.
\n\tEstablish understanding of task and correct tool application.
\n\tDistribute tasks equitably in team including tasks to yourself.<\/p>\n
Manage staffing compliment<\/p>\n
\tEnsure staff adequately trained to deliver on functional\/operational needs.
\n\tEnsure communication on all company initiatives\/launches.
\n\tManage shift rosters\/leave cycles.
\n\tInduct staff on operational needs
\n\tHave a succession plan.<\/p>\n
MISCELLANEOUS<\/p>\n
\tBe available for call outs\/ telephonic assistance.
\n\tAssist and comply with any lawful and reasonable requests from manager.<\/p>\n
