Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage all outbound logistics and dispatch operations within the Distribution Centre
\n\tEnsure accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfilment and store deliveries.
\n\tDrive operational excellence through continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives.
\n\tEnsure adherence to operational SOPs, service level agreements, and dispatch cut-off times
\n\tMonitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required
\n\tOversee transport scheduling and outbound planning to maximise fleet and route efficiency
\n\tMinimise stock damages, losses, and delivery discrepancies.
\n\tManage departmental budgets and achieve agreed financial targets.
\n\tControl operational costs, including labour, overtime, transport, and productivity-related expenses.
\n\tAnalyse operational and financial performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
\n\tDrive productivity improvements through effective workforce planning and operational controls
\n\tLead, coach, mentor, and develop operational teams to achieve performance targets.
\n\tManage workforce planning, labour allocation, and productivity
\n\tOversee labour broker performance in line with contractual agreements and cost controls
\n\tConduct regular performance reviews and engagement sessions
\n\tFoster a high-performance, accountable, and engaged team culture
\n\tManage transporter relationships and performance against agreed SLAs.
\n\tEnsure accurate and on-time deliveries to stores with effective issue resolution and communication.
\n\tMonitor transport turnaround times and delivery performance.
\n\tDrive improvements in transport efficiency and customer service.
\n\tSupport and optimise warehouse and logistics systems to improve operational efficiency
\n\tIdentify and implement process and system enhancements aligned to business requirements
\n\tLead operational change initiatives and process improvement projects.
\n\tEnsure operational reporting accuracy and data integrity.
\n\tEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
\n\tMaintain accountability for company assets and operational equipment
\n\tEnsure a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
\n\tConduct operational audits and risk assessments.<\/p>\n

Quaification:<\/p>\n
\tThree-year Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field (Essential)
\n\tRelevant Supply Chain, Distribution Centre, or Project Management certification (Advantageous).<\/p>\n
Experience & Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\t5\u20138 years of experience within a large-scale Distribution Centre or warehouse operations environment
\n\t3\u20135 years of management experience specifically within FMCG, retail, or logistics operations
\n\tProven track record in managing outbound logistics, transport networks, and fleet coordination
\n\tExperience managing labor brokers and third-party transport providers (3PL).<\/p>\n
