We are seeking a\u00a0Portfolio Manager \u2013\u00a0Sectional Title & HOA\u00a0\u00a0to join our established, forward-thinking team\u00a0based in Claremont, Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.\u00a0
\n\tThis role is suited to a professional who is confident in managing trustee relationships, AGMs, compliance, budgets, maintenance coordination, and stakeholder communication across a portfolio of schemes.
\n\tYou will join a structured environment with strong internal support, allowing you to focus on delivering consistent service excellence and long-term client relationships.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tFull management of sectional title and homeowners\u2019 association portfolios
\n\tBuilding and maintaining strong, professional relationships with trustees and stakeholders
\n\tAttending trustee meetings and AGMs (\u00b170% during office hours)
\n\tPreparing and reviewing AGM and trustee documentation
\n\tEnsuring trustee resolutions and action items are implemented timeously
\n\tEnsuring resolutions, compliance requirements, and maintenance actions are implemented effectively and timeously
\n\tManaging Body Corporate \/ HOA staff in conjunction with trustees
\n\tAssisting with budgets and budget variance management alongside the finance team
\n\tManaging Conduct & Management Rules, including CSOS submissions
\n\tEnsuring compliance with the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act and related legislation<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Property Studies or BCom
\n\tSectional Title \/ Homeowners\u2019 Association qualification (e.g. Paddocks)<\/p>\n
Experience & Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tProven experience within as a portfolio manager\u00a0
\n\tProven experience as a Sectional Title Portfolio Manager\u00a0
\n\tExperience managing multiple schemes and complex stakeholder relationships
\n\tProven experience managing trustee and AGM processes
\n\tStrong understanding of sectional title legislation and compliance
\n\tSolid financial understanding (budgets, AFS interpretation)
\n\tPrevious leadership or senior portfolio experience<\/p>\n
