ROLE PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThe Junior Operations Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Operations Management System across all allocated stores (Wackys Brand). The role focuses on driving\u00a0sustainable profitability,\u00a0operational excellence,\u00a0brand compliance, and\u00a0people development, while ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food safety standards, and service benchmarks are consistently achieved.
\n\tThis role is specific to our Wackys brand (Fried Chicken) which falls within the Pedros umbrella of companies.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Operational Performance & Profitability<\/p>\n
\tManage and support all operational issues across allocated stores.
\n\tDrive turnover growth, customer count growth, gross profit, and profitability performance in line with benchmarks.
\n\tEnsure effective cost control, including food cost, labour, and operational expenses.
\n\tMonitor and improve service efficiency including all performance-based metrics.<\/p>\n
SOP, Quality & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure Food Quality always remains the primary focus.
\n\tEnsure strict adherence to all SOPs, policies, and operational standards.
\n\tMaintain brand audit, food safety audit, and mystery shopper scores above required minimum benchmarks.
\n\tEnsure food safety compliance, hygiene standards, equipment servicing, and corrective actions are consistently implemented.
\n\tMonitor and action audit outcomes, compliance risks, and operational gaps.<\/p>\n
People Management & Leadership<\/p>\n
\tPlan, organise, lead, and control store management and teams to meet or exceed performance targets.
\n\tCoach, mentor, and develop Store Managers and teams to improve performance and capability.
\n\tDrive engagement, reduce voluntary staff and management turnover, and build high-performing teams.
\n\tEnsure training, onboarding, and performance management processes are executed effectively.<\/p>\n
Customer Experience & Brand Standards<\/p>\n
\tEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction across all channels.
\n\tMonitor customer complaints, ensure timely resolution, and implement corrective actions.
\n\tDrive positive digital ratings, QR survey participation, and Net Promoter Score performance as well as all Customer experience metrics.
\n\tUphold and reinforce Pedros\u2019 leadership principles, values, High performance and customer obsession culture.<\/p>\n
Reporting, Administration & Communication<\/p>\n
\tPrepare, analyse and review weekly and monthly operational reports.
\n\tEnsure accurate reporting on KPIs, audits, financial performance, and action plans.
\n\tMaintain effective communication with stores, management, and support teams.
\n\tSupport execution of marketing plans, promotions, and operational initiatives.<\/p>\n
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)<\/p>\n
The Operations Manager will be measured against, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tLike-on-like turnover and customer growth
\n\tEBITDA and gross profit % targets
\n\tBrand audit, food safety audit, and mystery shopper scores
\n\tService speed (SOS, drive-thru, delivery metrics)
\n\tCustomer complaints ratio and digital ratings
\n\tStaff and management turnover rates
\n\tDelivery aggregator uptime and performance<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tQualification in Operations, Marketing, Business Development, or Business Administration
\n\tFranchise and\/or Corporate Store experience
\n\tGAAP \/ Micros system experience
\n\tMinimum\u00a02 years\u2019 experience as a multi store operator\u00a0role within Fried Chicken Restaurant environment
\n\tProven experience managing multi-site operations in a high-volume environment<\/p>\n
