Hatch is currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated\u00a0Proposal Coordinator\u00a0to join our global Client Action Team (CAT), supporting sales efforts in Africa, India, and the Middle East.\u00a0

\n\tBased in Johannesburg, you\u2019ll play a key role in shaping and supporting the proposal team\u2019s goal of producing winning submissions. You\u2019ll manage the administrative side of proposal development \u2013 from maintaining the SharePoint site and creating custom templates, to coordinating inputs\/reviews, and overseeing final production.<\/p>\n
As the successful candidate, you will:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSupport the Pursuit Manager and Proposal Process Lead in organizing proposal kick-off meetings and co-facilitating ongoing proposal coordination meetings.
\n\tDevelop proposal outlines, draft standard content, format documents, and manage final assembly and submission.
\n\tFacilitate internal reviews and ensure compliance with RFP requirements by providing an additional layer of quality control.
\n\tCoordinate technical inputs and update\/customize CVs, bios, project descriptions, and other proposal content.
\n\tTrack progress against the proposal schedule and follow up with contributors to ensure deadlines are met.
\n\tManage and maintain proposal files and databases using appropriate information management systems (e.g., SharePoint).
\n\tCollaborate with the graphics team to develop tailored visual content.
\n\tSupport post-submission activities, including clarifications and additional documentation.
\n\tMaintain and update libraries of supporting materials, including CVs, project sheets, images, and testimonials.<\/p>\n
You bring to the role:<\/p>\n
\tA diploma or degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
\n\t2+ years of proposal development experience, including at least 1 year of experience as a proposal coordinator.
\n\tExceptional writing skills with a keen eye for grammar, clarity, and consistency in editing and proofreading.
\n\tExcellent organizational and time management skills.
\n\tProven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
\n\tHigh attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
\n\tA collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
\n\tAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
\n\tFamiliarity with SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), and CRM tools (an asset).\u00a0
\n\tWorking knowledge of the engineering, procurement, and construction management consulting industry (highly desirable).<\/p>\n
