Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Solution Design & Architecture<\/p>\n
\tServe as a core member of a cross-functional, highly skilled technical team responsible for the end-to-end design of complex solutions\u2014from concept through development, integration, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management.
\n\tLead and project manage responses to complex RFXs, ensuring high-quality, timely submissions.
\n\tProvide technical leadership and team oversight in the development and support of complex solutions across all sales segments.
\n\tEnsure all solutions integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure and meet defined customer requirements.
\n\tDevelop commercially viable solutions, accounting for both initial implementation costs and ongoing maintenance\/service expenses.
\n\tSupport sales initiatives through technical presentations, bid management, and business case development, while participating in industry standards and regulatory engagements.
\n\tContribute to product team initiatives as a technical lead in the development, implementation, and integration of new solutions and services.
\n\tCollaborate with external consultants and suppliers to design, validate, and integrate solution components.
\n\tEnsure all solutions comply with health, safety, and energy efficiency standards.<\/p>\n
Operations<\/p>\n
\tEstablish and maintain a structured framework for complex solution proposals, including tracking performance, success rates, and improvement opportunities.
\n\tContinuously enhance the quality, efficiency, and success rate of customer-specific solutions within defined timelines.
\n\tIdentify operational improvement opportunities and propose actionable implementation plans.
\n\tCollaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth handover of completed solutions.
\n\tSupport sales strategy by aligning technical solutions with market needs, participating in regular engagements, and providing customer and market insights.<\/p>\n
Fulfilment<\/p>\n
\tManage technical relationships with partners to ensure feasibility and accuracy in meeting customer requirements.
\n\tContribute to Go\/No-Go decision-making processes for bids and proposals.
\n\tDevelop and manage streamlined business case and feasibility processes for time-sensitive opportunities (RFPs\/RFIs).
\n\tCoordinate cross-functional reviews and secure approvals for complex solutions.
\n\tEnsure solutions are delivered on time and meet customer expectations and specifications.
\n\tDrive ad hoc product and solution development tailored to specific client needs.
\n\tParticipate in client engagements, including meetings and presentations, providing expert technical input.<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Engagement<\/p>\n
\tStay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, incorporating insights into solution design.
\n\tProvide feedback and consultation to development teams based on customer experiences and implementation learnings.
\n\tWork closely with Sales teams to understand customer needs, industries, and market segments, contributing to future service development.
\n\tDeliver training and enablement sessions to Sales teams on solution offerings and capabilities.
\n\tSupport Service Delivery teams in deploying and maintaining complex solutions.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n
\t3 or 4-year BSc Engineering, BEng or in a related discipline or equivalent i.e. B-Tech, N6, NFQ 7 equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
\n\tIndustry Specific Certifications i.e. DCIE,DCTP, CDCE<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\t4 years experience in technical field of which to be operating in the capacity of a specialist: Electrical, Mechanical engineering, Data Centre management, IT, Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales engineering etc
\n\t3 years solutions technical experience (UPS, Generators, Cooling, Racking, Data Centres, Containment, Modular Data Centres, etc.)
\n\tProject Management experience including the development of project and simultaneously managing multiple projects
\n\tIn-depth understanding of customer needs \/ wants \/ challenges \/ insights for all Sales segments i.e. Government, Financial, Mining, Health, Education, Transport, Carrier, etc.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\t3 years solution design and architecture experience
\n\t3 years creation of short and long-term strategic technology plans for customers<\/p>\n
