Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
In-service Inspection and Maintenance:<\/p>\n
\tProvide in-service and maintenance support for the NLM facilities,
\n\tPrepare, review In-service Inspection and maintenance Programs (ISIP&M) for the various processes and facilities, including ensure compliance to the ISIP&M.
\n\tImplementation of modifications and installations to NWM facilities and processes as required.
\n\tEnsure compliance to NWM facility Inspection and Maintenance programs
\n\tCo-ordinating of statutory inspection requirements for different plants and buildings under NWM supervision
\n\tIn-service examination, testing, inspection and maintenance of any of the NLM plants to ensure that the integrity of the mechanical components and systems conform to that on which the nuclear operating license for the plant was granted.<\/p>\n
Waste Management Projects<\/p>\n
\tParticipating in the planning, installation and commissioning of equipment and processes of Projects
\n\tTechnically prepare, review or provide inputs for the following documents: Manuals, ISIP&M, Procedures, OTS, Specifications, Design Specifications, WAR, HIRA, Basis of design, HAZOP, Training procedures, Purchase specifications.<\/p>\n
Supervision and Leadership\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSupervision of artisan and technicians ensuring deliverables are met.
\n\tMaintain and create development plans including succession strategy<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 6)<\/p>\n
\tRegistered as a professional Technician with ECSA
\n\tMinimum 7 years\u2019 experience in the mechanical maintenance field and nuclear waste facilities.
\n\tMinimum 3 years experience as a supervisor\u00a0
\n\tExperience in the design, development, construction and commissioning of facilities<\/p>\n
