MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB<\/p>\n
AVS Verification<\/p>\n
\tPerform AVS checks on new beneficiaries and once-off payments via the integrated Enterprise AVS platform.
\n\tVerify mandatory fields including:
\n\tID number \/ Passport number \/ Company registration number
\n\tBank account number\u00a0<\/p>\n
Validate optional fields when available:<\/p>\n
\tSurname or business name
\n\tContact number or email.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Review AVS results including:<\/p>\n
\tSuccessful match
\n\tPartial match<\/p>\n
Failed verification\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tInterpret masked AVS responses and determine whether escalation is required.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Generate daily or weekly reports on:
\n\tNumber of AVS checks performed
\n\tMatch vs partial match vs failed verifications<\/p>\n
Exceptions and escalations.<\/p>\n
Transactional Banking Administration<\/p>\n
\tEffects not cleared base 1, base 2, SMS,DMS
\n\tEnterprise \u2013 provide support for: (cards\/eft), logging defects on Excalibur, testing production bugs, enterprise & internet offline
\n\tEnterprise \u2013 provide Branch support for: internet banking \/ corporate banking \/ enterprise & UDT
\n\tCards: order cards\/pin mailer \/envelopes & recon for stock of cards.
\n\tLog CQLS queries (EFT disputes \/recalls) & approve credits (SQS disputes)
\n\tEFT duplicates & SABRIC Repatriation of funds.
\n\tScreens all incoming calls as and when required and ensures messages left are given to the respective staff members
\n\tArranges and coordinates meetings as required
\n\tTakes minutes at meetings for the division & Compiles meeting packs for meetings relating to the division and records sessions.
\n\tPrepares the electronic payment requisition and obtains relevant signatures and thereafter forwards to the finance department for processing of payment \u2013 inclusive of Bankserve, ccd, DT,FG
\n\tKeeps an electronic and filed copy of a schedule of payments made
\n\tConducts fee comparison with other banks twice a year
\n\tExtracts reports weekly and as required and forwards these to the relevant meeting eg. Exco, ECC (includes EXCO Dashboard Statistics)<\/p>\n
Strategic Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide comprehensive strategic and administrative support to the COO team in relation to Transactional Banking functions, initiatives and reporting.<\/p>\n
Vivere Administration<\/p>\n
\tEDD transactions over R250k – statement request (3 months bank statements SOF)
\n\tInternational Banking application to be completed and client to be called to confirm BOP category
\n\tProvide card order information to CCD on a daily basis and follow up with clients who didn\u2019t collect cards
\n\tCreate Manual accounts via the Vivere back office when the onboarding fails.
\n\tOrder cards manually for clients who want additional cards via the Vivere back office
\n\tAssist with Client query support from Customer Services.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tA Certificate of Relevant qualifications in Administration will be required in order to meet the requirements of the role at the highest level of competence.<\/p>\n
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience\u00a0
\n\tPrevious working experience in a Banking\/ Corporate environment<\/p>\n
