Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tTo supervise daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on achieving and maintaining 100% stock accuracy, ensuring that all stock movements are accurately recorded in SYSPRO, and that all stock is stored in the correct bin locations, while maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and space utilization.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Stock Control & Accuracy<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) are captured accurately and timeously in SYSPRO.
\n\tMaintain full alignment between physical stock and system records.
\n\tEnsure all stock is stored in the correct bin locations at all times.
\n\tConduct and supervise cycle counts and stock counts and resolve variances.
\n\tImplement controls to prevent stock losses, damage, and discrepancies.<\/p>\n
Warehouse Operations<\/p>\n
\tSupervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
\n\tEnsure accuracy of incoming and outgoing stock (quantity, quality, documentation).
\n\tMonitor workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks and orders.
\n\tEnsure all transactions are correctly recorded and supported by documentation.<\/p>\n
Housekeeping & Space Management<\/p>\n
\tMaintain high housekeeping standards across the warehouse.
\n\tEnsure efficient use of limited warehouse space.
\n\tEnforce proper stacking, storage, and organization of stock.<\/p>\n
Staff Supervision<\/p>\n
\tSupervise, allocate work, and monitor performance of warehouse staff.
\n\tManage attendance, overtime, and discipline.
\n\tTrain staff on procedures, stock control, and system usage.
\n\tDrive a culture of accountability and attention to detail.<\/p>\n
Systems & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all data in SYSPRO is accurate and up to date.
\n\tMaintain proper warehouse documentation and records.
\n\tPrepare regular reports (stock variances, movements, backlog, stock levels). \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Health & Safety<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with all health and safety standards.
\n\tPromote safe handling and use of equipment.
\n\tMaintain a safe and organized working environment.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a warehouse supervisory role
\n\tExperience with SYSPRO or similar ERP system
\n\tStrong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Office)
\n\tForklift experience and valid driver\u2019s license advantageous<\/p>\n
