Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Financial Controller will assist in forecasting and variance analysis to support business planning and decision\u2011making. They will also assist with the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reporting outputs<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tContribute to preparing the Quarterly reporting packs
\n\tContribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
\n\tOwnership of the fixed asset register\u00a0
\n\tAssist in financial analysis of divisions\u00a0
\n\tInventory accounting and ownership of inventory related reconciliations\u00a0
\n\tImplement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
\n\tLiaise with the Financial Manager to improve monthly reporting packs
\n\tPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on Inventory and fixed assets
\n\tHandle queries and concerns related to fixed assets and inventory\u00a0
\n\tStay updated with industry best practices and introduce process improvements as necessary<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\t7+ years of experience in financial control and management (This can be inclusive of articles etc)
\n\tCompleted BCom degree in Finance and possibly Honours\/CA (advantageous)\u00a0
\n\tFormal training in Accounting and VAT
\n\tExpertise in financial reporting and compliance
\n\tProven track record in managing financial teams
\n\tAdvanced Excel (not negotiable)
\n\tKnowledge of SAGE (preferable)<\/p>\n
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE \/ TECHNICAL SKILLS:<\/p>\n
\tFinancial control and reporting proficiency
\n\tRegulatory compliance expertise
\n\tBudgeting and forecasting proficiency
\n\tProven track record in managing financial teams
\n\tKnowledge & ability to identify risk in projects
\n\tSAP (advantageous)
\n\tCaseware (advantageous)\u00a0<\/p>\n
