The successful candidate will be responsible for regulating the relationship between the management and employees, and with external institutions such as the CCMA. Promote and maintain communication between management, unions and employees. Provide advice and support to managers in operations with regards to the Labour law by supporting disciplinary and grievance processes and maintaining positive Labour relations across the business. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of South African labour laws, excellent conflict resolution skills, and experience engaging with unions and employees in a fast-paced operational environment<\/p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tWork with the Manager: Employee Relations and peers to deliver on overall objectives and priorities for the function and Operation<br \/>\n\tProvide ER\/IR guidance and support to management and employees.<br \/>\n\tManage disciplinary, grievance, incapacity, and misconduct processes.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate investigations, hearings, and consultations in line with company policies and labour legislation.<br \/>\n\tEstablish and maintain good working relationships and an effective \/ sound communication system with the operations.<br \/>\n\tEnsure consistency and fairness in the interpretation and application of the Disciplinary Code and Grievance Policy and Procedure across operations.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse and report trends of misconduct to relevant persons.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with the Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), and other relevant legislation.<br \/>\n\tRepresent the company at CCMA and bargaining council matters where required.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain constructive relationships with unions and employee representatives.<br \/>\n\tAdvise management on employee relations risks and best practices.<br \/>\n\tSupport organisational change initiatives and consultations.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and report on ER trends, case management, and labour-related risks.<br \/>\n\tAssist with policy implementation and employee awareness initiatives.<br \/>\n\tConduct, reporting ER audit in operations: Ensure that all ER reporting is aligned with standards, guidelines and schedules.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all ER related processes are held within the reasonable time as per policies and procedure.<br \/>\n\tPrepare and conduct ER training including the inductions in various operations<\/p>\n<p>Qualification Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification registered at NQF Level 4, including relevant NATED qualifications such as the N3 Certificate,<br \/>\n\tDegree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or related field.<br \/>\n\tHR or ER\/IR professional registration<\/p>\n<p>Experience and Skills Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\t5+ years\u2019 experience in Employee Relations \/ Industrial Relations within mining, engineering, or industrial environments.<br \/>\n\tExposure to unionised environments.<br \/>\n\tStrong understanding of South African labour legislation.<br \/>\n\tExperience handling disciplinary hearings, grievances, and CCMA cases.<br \/>\n\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.<br \/>\n\tStrong report-writing and administrative skills.<br \/>\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office.<br \/>\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence for travelling to sites and or operations in various provinces<br \/>\n\tStrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills<br \/>\n\tHigh level of integrity and confidentiality<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website (  ) or<\/p>\n<p>minopex.simplify.hr<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/minopex.simplify.hr","_company_name":"Minopex","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job_listing_region":[11],"job-types":[12],"class_list":{"0":"post-36854","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_region-gauteng","7":"job-type-full-time"},"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/36854","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=36854"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_region","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_listing_region?post=36854"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=36854"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
