Responsibilities
\nKey Responsibility Areas:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
\n\tManage general ledger activities and ensure accurate account reconciliations.
\n\tOversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
\n\tPrepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
\n\tAssist with monitoring cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
\n\tEnsure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
\n\tAssist with external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
\n\tAnalyze financial data and provide insights into management for decision-making.
\n\tSupervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance where necessary.
\n\tIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial efficiency.
\n\tManage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll reconciliations when required.
\n\tEnsure timely submission of statutory returns and regulatory reporting.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
\n\tProfessional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, or SAIPA is advantageous.
\n\tMinimum of 5\u20137 years\u2019 accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
\n\tStrong knowledge of IFRS\/GAAP and financial reporting standards.
\n\tProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
\n\tExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
\n\tHigh attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\tStrong communication and leadership abilities.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Accountability
\n\tAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables and financial modelling.
\n\tAudit and tax compliance knowledge.<\/p>\n
