Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of this job is to ensure and maintain an efficient service, this includes following the cash register procedure and accurately ringing up sales, in such a manner that it results in an increase in customer satisfaction and continuous growth of the business.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tGreet customers as they enter the store
\n\tFollow cash up procedure
\n\tCheck cash received by customer
\n\tProcess EFT payments
\n\tEnsure all sales are rang up accurately and efficiently on the registers
\n\tPack purchase items in shopping bags
\n\tHand over cash drops to superior, for security measures
\n\tPerform daily cash ups
\n\tBe aware of suspicious looking customers
\n\tBe aware of all promotional products on sale
\n\tIssue gift cards, check customers reward cards and cash in points
\n\tResponsible for housekeeping of work area
\n\tParticipate in perpetual stock takes
\n\tPerform any work related tasks as delegated by superior<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMatric or Equivalent
\n\t1 Year minimum experience in a similar role
\n\tBrights Induction (service excellence)
\n\tClear credit score
\n\tGood customer service and Interpersonal skills
\n\tAwareness & Vigilance
\n\tAbility to handle pressure
\n\tNumerical skills
\n\tAbility to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
\n\tExceptional organisational ability, high attention to detail and ability to multi-tasks
\n\tWilling to work flexible hours and holidays to meet the needs of the business<\/p>\n
