\tOur\u00a0non-attest\u00a0division\u00a0offers an integrated range of\u00a0non-audit\u00a0business services, aimed at positioning the firm as a trusted business advisor to owner-managed businesses.\u00a0
\n\tThe\u00a0position\u00a0includes fulfilling the engagement leader role on\u00a0a portfolio of\u00a0private\u00a0clients consisting of individuals, trusts, close corporations and companies, signing independent review and compilation\u00a0reports.\u00a0
\n\tBeyond these engagement specific responsibilities, the individual will support the partner in leading this division,\u00a0by providing oversight of the managers and staff,\u00a0coordinating the day-to-day\u00a0operations\u00a0and\u00a0identifying\u00a0and pursuing opportunities for growth.\u00a0
\n\tThis is a senior position, taking ownership of an important\u00a0part of our PwC business and being an integral part of our PwC regional leadership team\u00a0in the Eastern Cape.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications \/ Certifications\u00a0required:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCA(SA)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience required:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of\u00a08\u00a0years’\u00a0relevant experience in\u00a0an\u00a0accounting environment, preferably within an audit or similar\u00a0organization.\u00a0
\n\tMust\u00a0have a good understanding and working experience in IFRS,\u00a0IFRS\u00a0for\u00a0SMEs\u00a0and taxation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsibilities of role:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tParticipate as a member of the Assurance Leadership team for the PwC Eastern Cape region.\u00a0
\n\tEngagement leader for\u00a0portfolio\u00a0of clients.\u00a0
\n\tProvide oversight of managers and\u00a0staff, including allocation of work,\u00a0coaching and training,\u00a0review of outputs and performance management.\u00a0
\n\tInteractions with clients, including\u00a0identifying\u00a0and executing opportunities for growth.\u00a0
\n\tTax planning and calculations\u00a0
\n\tOther\u00a0operational\u00a0functions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
