Role purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe role is an end-to-end finance role which includes financial operations and FP&A.
\n\tThe individual takes overall responsibility for all financial matters in the Group of companies, setting all forecasts, overseeing monthly financial reporting and all statutory audits \/ reporting.
\n\tThe role also includes full working capital and cash management and maintain an appropriate control environment.<\/p>\n
Key accountabilities and decision ownership<\/p>\n
Financial Planning<\/p>\n
\tForecasts business performance into the future
\n\tEnsures inputs from all executives for financial planning
\n\tGuides the implementation of the business strategy based on insights from the financial planning<\/p>\n
Financial operations<\/p>\n
\tOversees general accounting functions i.e. payroll, tax etc
\n\tEnsures robust control environment to deliver trusted, accurate and compliant financial environment<\/p>\n

Must have technical \/ professional qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tB.Com Accounting honours degree \/ CA(SA) or equivalent
\n\tAt least 10 years financial management experience, preferably in a public enterprise<\/p>\n
environment<\/p>\n
\tICT industry experience an advantage
\n\t5yrs Leadership experience
\n\tGovernance custodian, to ensure all group policies, IFRS and companies act requirements are adhered to
\n\tReviews financial policies and procedures
\n\tOversees technical accounting projects within the Group like IFRS15
\n\tManages financial reporting: Month-End, Year-End, Group Finance<\/p>\n
Management Reporting<\/p>\n
\tReports to MD & Exco team on Group’s key indicators for the month
\n\tStatutory reporting
\n\tEnsures finalisation of annual financial statements
\n\tManages reporting to external auditors
\n\tEnsuring CIPC deadlines are adhered to<\/p>\n
Control and Governance<\/p>\n
\tEnsures compliance with financial year end processes<\/p>\n
Operational Support<\/p>\n
\tEnsures support with the consolidation of financial results<\/p>\n
