We\u2019re seeking an experienced Operations Executive who will be responsible for coordinating and executing daily logistics operations and ensuring efficient cargo movement.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Operational Coordination<\/p>\n
\tcoordinate end-to-end shipment processes
\n\tHandle sea, road and intermodal operations
\n\tAlign cargo movement with schedules, bookings and delivery needs
\n\tOversee container releases, collections and deliveries<\/p>\n
Shipping and Freight Operations<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with shipping lines on bookings, schedules and availibility
\n\tArrange transport for port and long haul movements
\n\tMonitor vessel activity, port operations and container usage<\/p>\n
Customs and Regulatory Compliance<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate import\/export customs clearance with agents
\n\tEnsure compliance with SARS, port operations and container usage<\/p>\n
Documentation and Systems Administration<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and verify key shipment documentation
\n\tMaintain accurate records on CargoWare and internal systems
\n\tManage vendor pricing requests for quoatations<\/p>\n
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tProvide proactive shipment updates to customers
\n\tHandle queries, issues and escalations promptly
\n\tBuild relationships with transporters and service providers
\n\tSupport commercial team with operational insights\u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric Certificate (Grade 12)
\n\tMinimum 3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or cross-border transport operations
\n\tExperience in sea freight and transport coordination within a shipping or logistics environment
\n\tKnowledge of import\/export customs procedures and documentation
\n\tExperience working with shipping lines, transporters, and clearing agents
\n\tProficiency in CargoWare and Microsoft Office Suite
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport\u00a0<\/p>\n
