\tWe are seeking a skilled FMCG \/ Agricultural Millwright to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment within the agricultural and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our production processes.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPerform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
\n\tInstall and commission new machinery and equipment in line with operational requirements.
\n\tTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
\n\tCollaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
\n\tConduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues before they become critical.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
\n\tAdhere to health and safety standards within the workplace, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
\n\tParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tProven track record in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on FMCG or agricultural machinery.
\n\tStrong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
\n\tDemonstrable experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving mechanical issues.
\n\tAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
\n\tEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
\n\tFamiliarity with safety standards and practices in an industrial environment.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tRelevant trade qualification in Millwright or Mechanical Engineering.
\n\tExperience with automation and control systems is an advantage.
\n\tKnowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations within the FMCG sector.
\n\t5years experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines
\n\tWireman\u2019s license preferred
\n\tWelding and metal work
\n\tPhysically and mentally fit, must be able to lift and handle loads of 25kg\u2019s
\n\tDriver\u2019s license with good history
\n\tWorking standby<\/p>\n
