PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThe role is responsible to render an efficient service on maintaining of plant and equipment and adhering to safety aspects.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tObserve and adhere to general responsibilities
\n\tAdhere to all employment legislation as amended from time to time.
\n\tAdhere to the requirements of the SHEQ-C Code of conduct.
\n\tAdhere to all Company policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
\n\tSet a high standard of performance by example and behavior.
\n\tEngage post as a scheduled shift worker until relieved by the next shift
\n\tworker or as arranged by Shift Supervisor or Foreman.
\n\tAttend Safety and pre-shift meetings as scheduled.
\n\tAttend training sessions as required.
\n\tOperate and use Required Tools and Equipment skillfully and safely
\n\tGood housekeeping practice as per company standards.
\n\tAssemble, install, maintain, and repair electrical apparatuses.
\n\tMake rough sketches.
\n\tEstimate cost, time, and material of electrical work.
\n\tInspections and reports
\n\tComplete all relevant inspections and reports.
\n\tAssist in the writing of specifications for repairs and new construction
\n\tReport all faults and problems to the Foreman.
\n\tSafety aspects on plant and equipment
\n\tEnsure compliance with all maintenance standard operating procedures (SOP)
\n\tEnsure that electrical, kinetic, and potential energy are neutralised before commencing tasks.
\n\tDo not commence with any tasks if the required safety criteria are not met.
\n\tReport all accidents\/incidents and safety deviations to the Foreman.
\n\tMaintenance of plant and equipment
\n\tPerform planned and unplanned maintenance.
\n\tMaintain plant and equipment to design capacity.
\n\tEnsure that tools and equipment are kept in a safe working condition.<\/p>\n

\tGrade 12
\n\tN3 Engineering Certificate
\n\tTrade Test Auto Electrician<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 \u2013 5 years experience in a similar role
\n\tLearnership\/apprenticeship as an Auto Electrician<\/p>\n
