Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n
\tTo entrench and uphold the AECI quality system in all areas that is implicated in the AECI quality management system with regard to compliance to ISO 9001 framework
\n\tProvide support and guidance to implement and maintain the quality management system at the global level<\/p>\n
Required outputs: Functional<\/p>\n
\tEvaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system by conducting quality system audits with respect to implementation, maintenance, improvement and auditing of the AECI quality management system rooted in ISO 9001
\n\tProvide quality assurance support and advisory services
\n\tCoaching and mentoring of Quality Champions
\n\tEnsure production traceability data is accessible and fit for purpose in the event of product recalls and customer complaints
\n\tMaintain contact and build good working relations with all AECI functions (global) to facilitate continuous improvement of the QMS
\n\tObserve and ensure compliance with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices
\n\tMaintain a framework of measurements that support early problem detection (DPMO)
\n\tSupport technical and quality opposite various plants and process technologies with regards to experimental design, experimental testing, plant investigations and reporting
\n\tMaintain FMEA risk management for products and processes
\n\tConduct NPI audits to verify compliance to ISO requirements
\n\tMaintain Failure Mode manuals
\n\tMaintenance of Quality Franchise models for each AECI function
\n\tMaintenance of Quality Champions throughout the organisation (each site)
\n\tSupport continual business improvement
\n\tComply with Safety, Health and Environment standards<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Quality Engineering, Commerce or Chemistry
\n\t2 \u2013 3 years of experience in production or manufacturing (preferably explosives manufacturing)
\n\tQuality qualification such as Lean Six Sigma and Internal Auditor certification an advantage
\n\tKnowledge of ISO 9001 and quality tools and techniques preferable
\n\tInternal Auditor ISO 9001
\n\tAppropriate ISO Quality qualification and accreditation or quality engineering background<\/p>\n
