Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented candidate to support the Fund Development team. This role involves coordinating fundraising activities, events, and campaigns, alongside a range of administrative responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for the non-profit sector and a genuine commitment to making a meaningful difference in South Africa.
\n\tThe role is that of a Fundraising Operations Co-Ordinator and will be based in Cape Town, Western Cape.<\/p>\n
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 minimum with 3+ years working experience in an admin support role – would suit an all round office co-ordinator
\n\tValid Drivers licence\u00a0
\n\tSalesForce knowledge – preferable \u00a0
\n\tPrevious exposure to NGO \u00a0\/ NPO space or a passion for this nature of industry
\n\tMarketing, Event planning and coordination experience
\n\tAttentional to detail\u00a0<\/p>\n
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
\nFundraising Operations & Donor Support<\/p>\n
\tCapture and manage daily donations across multiple platforms
\n\tEnsure timely donor acknowledgements and tax certificates (S18A)
\n\tMaintain accurate donor records and reporting
\n\tSupport donor stewardship and relationship building<\/p>\n
Volunteer Programme Co-ordination<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and promote national volunteer initiatives
\n\tEngage with corporates, schools, and community groups
\n\tFacilitate volunteer bookings, communication, and event hosting
\n\tMaintain and update the volunteer database<\/p>\n
Events, Campaigns & Marketing Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist with planning and execution of events and campaigns
\n\tCoordinate suppliers, logistics, and registrations
\n\tCapture content (photos\/videos) to support marketing efforts
\n\tManage marketing materials and asset distribution<\/p>\n
General Support<\/p>\n
\tMaintain stakeholder databases and information systems
\n\tManage shared inbox communications
\n\tProvide administrative and coordination support to the team
\n\tAssist leadership with ad hoc support when required<\/p>\n
