\tAlert Engine Parts\u00a0is searching for an\u00a0Outbound Supervisor\u00a0to join the team at the\u00a0Riverhorse\u00a0branch.\u00a0The purpose of this position is to manage the flow of consignments destined for external and internal customers.<\/p>\n
Requirements\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Grade 12 \/with warehousing courses – Essential\u202f\u00a0
\n\tAt least 5 years\u2019 experience in warehousing\u00a0
\n\tTechnical background would be an added advantage\u00a0
\n\tSupervisor experience\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of warehouse systems\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of company policies, procedures, and warehouse procedures\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of branch operating planning, etc\u00a0
\n\tSelf-motivated and goal driven\u00a0
\n\tAbility to lead a team\u00a0
\n\tComputer literate\u00a0
\n\tClear criminal record\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Performance Indicators will include, but not limited to;\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that the defined operations are functioning at acceptable standards through planning, leadership, coordination, measurements, and control.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that all consignments are accurately checked prior to being packed.\u00a0
\n\tSupervise the picking process to ensure that all orders are picked before the prescribed cut-off times\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that all consignments are checked, packed and available for dispatching within the prescribed time.\u00a0
\n\tProfessionally manage all enquiries relating to outbound consignments.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that all drivers are neatly attired with their corporate clothing and compliant with driver\u2019s rules on the road.\u00a0
\n\tAssign responsibility for tasks and decisions. Set clear objectives and measures. Monitor progress and results.\u00a0
\n\tAnalysis and implementation of new systems and procedures\u00a0
\n\tBe responsible and general performance and well-being of staff\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that all activities are performed as per the Standard Operating Procedures and that all non-conformances are tracked and measured accordingly\u202f\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate with all other departments to ensure needed information is flowing from and to them\u00a0<\/p>\n
