MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB<\/p>\n
\tTo support the Nursing Manager in leading and coordinating safe, quality patient care.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS<\/p>\n
\tSupport the Nursing Manager to achieve quality patient care in line with the hospital operational goals and objectives
\n\tManage patient risks to achieve patient safety in line with specified clinical outcomes
\n\tEnsure a positive patient experience in line with corporate benchmarks
\n\tEnsure optimal utilisation of a competent and engaged workforce and other resources in line with the relevant company guidelines
\n\tLead and manage direct reports
\n\tEstablish and manage key stakeholder relationships to achieve integrated patient care and positive clinical outcomes<\/p>\n
REQUIRED EDUCATION<\/p>\n
\tESSENTIAL EDUCATION:\u00a0Degree\/diploma in nursing,\u00a0Appropriate leadership\/management qualification
\n\tDESIRED EDUCATION:\u00a0\u00a0Discipline-specific qualification<\/p>\n
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:\u00a0\u00a05 years experience in a supervisory position, e.g. Unit Manager
\n\tDESIRED EXPERIENCE:\u00a02 \u2013 3 years experience in a supervisory position within a specialised unit<\/p>\n
