\tResponsible for the upkeep and repair duties including maintaining green spaces, identifying the need for repairs, responding to client\u2019s maintenance requests, and servicing the reserves equipment. You will need to be skilled and hardworking, with an outstanding problem-solving ability.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric Certificate
\n\tRelevant technical qualification or trade certificate advantageous
\n\tMinimum 3\u20135 years\u2019 maintenance management experience, preferably within hospitality or property management
\n\tExperience managing a maintenance team and external contractors
\n\tComputer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, maintenance systems)
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence advantageous
\n\tKnowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to
\n\tAttends to the breakdown of plant, machinery & equipment in the shortest possible time
\n\tCleaning facilities by dusting, sweeping, etc
\n\tPerform maintenance & light repairs to ensure light fittings are in working order
\n\tPaint & fill gaps or crevices on walls, sidewalks, etc
\n\tUndertake light installation or carpeting e.g build cabinets
\n\tRepair equipment or appliances
\n\tAssist trades people with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
\n\tIdentify & report the needs for painting\/maintenance
\n\tMaintains safety records as per requirements
\n\tUndertakes routine checks on water pressure equipment & maintain accordingly
\n\tEnsures that emergency equipment is in working order at all times
\n\tComplete maintenance logs as required
\n\tMaintains clean, orderly & hazard-free work areas
\n\tIdentify & report the needs for major repairs
\n\tAny other adhoc duties that may be required<\/p>\n
