Position Purpose<\/p>\n
\tMaximise rental income for client property portfolio through strategic planning and the implementation thereof
\n\tTo Negotiate and agree terms and conditions of proposals to lease premises within specified parameters and conclude terms of standard lease agreements, according to the delegation of authority framework as issued by the board of directors from time to time.
\n\tTo market lease space in untapped and or undeveloped property spaces in order maximise the revenue potential of the portfolio, including but not limited to retail space, vacant land, industrial space, office space, residential portfolio, mass housing and etc.
\n\tTo satisfy needs of tenants whilst not compromising company position<\/p>\n

\tDevelop leasing plan in conjunction with relevant stakeholders for entire managed portfolio \u00a0
\n\tTo provide leadership and oversight of the leasing plan implementation and mitigating where there are any potential risks and gaps \u00a0
\n\tMaximise leasing opportunities on new business development \u00a0
\n\tManage market research to retain competitive advantage \u00a0
\n\tEnsure all renewal and new leases are timeously negotiated and professionally compiled \u00a0
\n\tMaintain positive relationships with all tenants and brokers \u00a0
\n\tCompile and distribute vacancy schedule to all potential clients \u00a0
\n\tManage and administer parking leases (monthly and lease based) \u2013 if applicable \u00a0
\n\tMaintain and grow tenant relationships \/ Database \u00a0
\n\tWell organised \u00a0
\n\tLeasing strategy formulated \u00a0
\n\tInput provided to in the budgeting process & manage budgets
\n\tEnsure that all expenditure and income are managed according to approved budget \u00a0
\n\tApply for CAPEX as and when needed \u00a0
\n\tManage pre and post billing process in conjunction with Leasing Officer \u00a0
\n\tSign off all Lease amendment motivation forms where applicable and for further Recommendation \u00a0
\n\tEnsure that Leasing Administration Officers and Leasing Officers are keeping tenant files up to date with relevant correspondence<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tMin 5 years\u2019 relevant experience in a large enterprise, preferably with 1 year supervisory or specialist experience Relevant Qualification \/ National Diploma (NQF 6 – in any Property Studies, Real Estate\/ Economics Advantageous: Transnet leadership Development Programme<\/p>\n
