\tTo improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts and material, and equipment access.<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tMaintain and update the preventive maintenance program, its master schedule, and master data.
\n\tOrganise\u00a0resources for maintenance activities in coordination with the operational departments.
\n\tPrepare work packages for every planned maintenance activity, inclusive of repetitive maintenance.
\n\tSupervise the procurement process of required material to assist in maintenance activities.
\n\tPlan and schedule activities related to equipment maintenance to enhance equipment and plant availability and utilisation.
\n\tManage and maintain critical spares and external repairs on spare parts and equipment.
\n\tExecute modification in maintenance records and key equipment with significant spares during setting apt reorder levels along with quantities.
\n\tProvide technical assistance for supporting entire on-site maintenance activities.<\/p>\n
Planning<\/p>\n
\tPlan major equipment overhauls.
\n\tManage the planning and scheduling of week -1 to week -4 work.
\n\tMonitor and report on week 0 and week 1 work executed.
\n\tEnsure compliance with Asset Management Standards and Procedures.
\n\tIncorporate safety controls and measures into planning and scheduling work.<\/p>\n
Operations<\/p>\n
\tPerform planned plant inspections.
\n\tManage and implement preventative maintenance plans.
\n\tSupervise and monitor planned maintenance activities.
\n\tPerform job safety analysis and planned task observations.<\/p>\n
Costing<\/p>\n
\tAssist in compiling and controlling annual maintenance budgets.
\n\tManage and control equipment life cycle components (LCCs).
\n\tAssist with cost management through best pricing and value as well as component contract management.<\/p>\n
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Standards<\/p>\n
\tObtain drawings, manuals and other documents to ensure alignment of maintenance activities to OEM specifications.
\n\tReview and update task lists to align with OEM standards and industry best practice.<\/p>\n
Coordination<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate to rebuild spare equipment through external suppliers to best practice standards.
\n\tCoordinate and participate in SHEQ processes.
\n\tPlan and schedule maintenance activities and planned shutdowns.
\n\tCoordinate weekly planning and schedule meetings.
\n\tCoordinate and\u00a0compile weekly equipment performance reports.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ N3 certificate
\n\tTrade Certificate in any trade \/ National Diploma:\u00a0 Mechanical \/ Electrical Engineering
\n\tPlanned maintenance \/ asset maintenance management course<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of three years experience in industry after qualifying
\n\tA minimum of three years supervisory and planning experience
\n\tExperience in maintenance planning of fixed or mobile plants
\n\tEngineering Asset Management (EAM)\u00a0system experience
\n\tProficiency in SAP, OnKey or other Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) will be advantageous<\/p>\n
