About the Role<\/p>\n
\tWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Customer Marketing Manager to join our Africa cluster team. Reporting to the Africa Cluster Marketing Director, this role is critical in shaping and delivering integrated marketing strategies that drive sales growth and expand market share across in-store and online channels.
\n\tYou will act as the key bridge between Brand, Sales, and our retail partners, ensuring seamless execution of shopper-focused initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
\n\tThis is a leadership role, managing a team of 6 customer marketing professionals across the Africa cluster, with travel required.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead, coach, and develop a high-performing customer marketing team across the Africa cluster
\n\tDrive the development and execution of omnichannel customer marketing strategies aligned with Marketing and Sales
\n\tBuild compelling trade narratives to strengthen customer partnerships and drive growth
\n\tIdentify and activate opportunities across in-store and e-commerce platforms to boost shopper engagement and conversion
\n\tOwn and manage customer marketing budgets, ensuring strong ROI and informed future investment decisions
\n\tPartner with Finance and Net Revenue Management to support pricing strategy development
\n\tLead the creation of impactful in-store marketing programs and promotional packs
\n\tUse data and insights (e.g., Nielsen and retailer analytics) to identify opportunities in distribution, pricing, and promotions
\n\tLead channel strategy development across markets
\n\tPlay a key leadership role in the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between marketing plans and sales execution
\n\tStay ahead of industry trends and shopper insights to inform strategy<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For<\/p>\n
Experience & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\t10+ years\u2019 experience in marketing, customer marketing, or trade marketing
\n\tProven experience leading and developing teams
\n\tStrong background working with retail customers
\n\tExperience with analytics tools such as Nielsen and retailer platforms<\/p>\n

\tStrong analytical mindset with the ability to manage performance through data
\n\tStrategic thinker with excellent project management skills
\n\tStrong business acumen and negotiation capability
