\tThe incumbent will be responsible for implementing and driving an integrated culture and engagement strategy at all the Beekman Group resorts throughout South Africa. S\/he should be able to engage, align and inspire resort employees with the company\u2019s vision and business strategy. The role encompasses key aspects of how the company connects and relates to employees, to empower them to create the best possible customer experience. The role partners closely with the Resort Management and Customer Experience Teams to shape, drive and deliver culture, engagement, and internal communications.<\/p>\n

\tSupport the Staff Welfare Manager to define, build and grow the company culture.
\n\tLead and manage the internal engagement of the Beekman W.A.Y initiative, along with action planning and goal setting, ensuring the leadership team has access to insights that inform positive change.
\n\tLead development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs to continuously improve engagement among our employees contributing to a high performing organisation linked to our values.
\n\tBuild strong internal networks and drive change management, communication of culture initiatives.
\n\tProvide counsel, guidance and tools to resort managers as to best practices in communicating with employees to elevate productivity, performance and pride.
\n\tTo influence social activity and performance update events including staff socials and guest interaction, in accordance to the resort Beekman W.A.Y Plan.
\n\tDrive the development and implementation of people recognition initiatives that are valued across the organisation at all levels and ongoing ownership.
\n\tFacilitate training of all staff at all levels to enforce the company culture.
\n\tOversee ad-hoc projects that further enhance the employee and customer\/shareholder experience.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: \u00a0<\/p>\n
\t5+ Years relevant working experience.
\n\tBackground and experience in Internal Communications.
\n\tPrevious experience in culture building and or staff and customer engagement.
\n\tProven leadership, independence of thought \/ action, and the ability to analyse complex problems from multiple perspectives.
\n\tExcellent facilitation skills.
\n\tMust be able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results, and follow through on commitments.
\n\tWhile the position is based at our Head Office in Port Shepstone, the incumbent must be willing to travel extensively (to resorts) on an ongoing basis. Most of the incumbent\u2019s work time will be spent at resorts.<\/p>\n
