We are seeking a\u00a0Quality Planner \u2013 Bulk Material Handling.\u00a0The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance, playing a crucial role in ensuring that the final products meet the company\u2019s quality standards.

\n\tThis position is based in\u00a0Cape Town<\/p>\n
TEAM YOU WILL BELONG TO<\/p>\n
\tYou will be part of a multidisciplinary project team focused on bulk material handling infrastructure in South African ports. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Compliance, and Client representatives, to ensure quality standards are upheld across all phases of project delivery.<\/p>\n
WHAT YOU WILL DO<\/p>\n
\tDeveloping and implementing quality control plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
\n\tSetting up a timeline for manufacturing, guaranteeing an uninterrupted transition from acquiring raw materials to dispatching the completed product.
\n\tConducting inspections of processes, products, and materials to identify defects and areas for improvement.
\n\tCollaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
\n\tAnalysing data and performance metrics to identify trends and root causes of quality issues.
\n\tMaintaining documentation and training staff on quality standards.
\n\tImplementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production equipment
\n\tWorking in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products or service.
\n\tReview of supplier quality documents (QCP, WPS, WQR and NDT procedures)
\n\tLiaise with relevant parties both internal and external on matters relating to Quality Management Systems.
\n\tResolve all NCR\u2019s and supplier quality issues.<\/p>\n
WHO YOU ARE<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering and or Quality Management
\n\tSAP knowledge and experience (Quality Module)
\n\tMinimum five years\u2019 experience in Quality Management Systems and Engineering
\n\tExtensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
\n\tExperience in conducting supplier sustainability audits
\n\tA thorough understanding of the company\u2019s products and its associated markets would be advantageous<\/p>\n
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES<\/p>\n
\tOwnership of the Supplier Audit and Quality monitoring process.
\n\tInterface with various business units and staff.<\/p>\n
HARD AND SOFT SKILLS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE<\/p>\n

\n\tExperience in delivering in-house training for effective execution of Quality Management Systems\u00a0\u00a0
