\tUJU-ESS is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven\u00a0Technical Facilities Manager\u00a0to lead maintenance, repair, and operational technical services across mining-related facilities. This role is critical in ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations while driving asset performance and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead planned preventative, reactive, and corrective maintenance programs
\n\tOversee multidisciplinary technical services: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, civils, and building maintenance
\n\tManage CAPEX and OPEX projects, including upgrades, refurbishments, and shutdowns
\n\tDrive asset performance through CMMS\/CAFM systems (preferably Planon)
\n\tEnsure full compliance with MHSA, OHSA, SANS, and SHEQ requirements
\n\tImplement Total Quality Management (TQM) and continuous improvement initiatives
\n\tManage budgets, cost control, and contractor performance
\n\tLead and develop high-performance technical teams
\n\tMaintain strong stakeholder and client relationships Maintenance compliance and asset uptime
\n\tBudget adherence and cost control
\n\tProject delivery (time, cost, quality)
\n\tSafety performance (zero harm focus)
\n\tContractor and SLA performance
\n\tContinuous improvement and reduction in repeat failures<\/p>\n
\u00a0Qualifications and Experience required:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma \/ Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Project Management
\n\tProject Management certification (PMBOK preferred)
\n\tMinimum 5+ years\u2019 experience in Project Management environment
\n\tMinimum 5+ years in Facilities \/ Maintenance Management
\n\tMining, industrial, or heavy infrastructure experience (preferred)<\/p>\n
