\n\tConduct inspections on accountable and reporting institutions to assess the levels of compliance with the provisions of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001 (the FIC Act).
\n\tDraft inspection reports detailing inspection findings and conclusions.
\n\tRecommend appropriate remedial action to remedy any non-compliance.
\n\tSecure accurate, reliable and admissible evidence to support conclusions on the inspected institution\u2019s level of compliance with the FIC Act.
\n\tConduct research on domestic and international AML compliance and enforcement trends.\u00a0
\n\tAttend and respond to correspondence relating to inspections and other general matters.
\n\tGuide and advise accountable, reporting institutions and supervisory bodies on compliance with the FIC Act.<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
\tRelevant bachelor’s degree e.g. LLB, BCom (Law)<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years of experience in a legal, law enforcement or compliance environment.<\/p>\n
