RCL FOODS is on the hunt for a Claims Clerk to join our Commercial, Credit Management team in Bedfordview.
\n\tThe successful incumbent will be responsible to manage and distribute all claims, proof of deliveries and collaborate with our 7 bakeries for Shoprite and Pick N Pay.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA tertiary qualification in Finance or a related field.\u00a0
\n\tExperience working with large volumes of claims.\u00a0
\n\tExperience working on Syspro will be advantageous.\u00a0
\n\tExperience working with Microsoft Excel.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nExtract Outstanding PODs<\/p>\n
\tAccess the Capisol platform to Retrieve all outstanding Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
\n\tSubmit the extracted PODs to the Credit Controller for onward submission to the PNP Head Office.
\n\tEnsure extraction is completed within the first week of each month<\/p>\n
Data Processing & System Capturing<\/p>\n
\tProcess all BBR value only credit and value only debits on Syspro through a Document Approval workflows.
\n\tCapture and process Milling, Grocery, and Sugar credit notes using the Activity Tracker and Document Approval workflows.
\n\tProcess Sugar Business Unit pricing claims accurately and timeously<\/p>\n
Month-End Compliance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all transactions and documentation are processed within stipulated month-end deadlines
\n\tAssist in ensuring completeness and accuracy of records during financial closing periods.<\/p>\n
Credit Control Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist Credit Controllers with general credit control administration.
\n\tEngage with Credit Controllers across various accounts to provide operational support and resolve queries.<\/p>\n
Banking<\/p>\n
\tProcess customer payments from daily bank statements onto the system, ensuring all receipts are correctly processed and discrepancies are identified and escalated promptly.<\/p>\n
