Job Description<\/p>\n
\tA leading international manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking a qualified and experienced Toolmaker to join their team based in Fort Jackson. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with strong technical expertise in injection moulding and tooling maintenance.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSafely maintain and care for all injection moulds
\n\tAssist with tool trials and tool preparation alongside the planning department
\n\tEnsure tooling is prepared and available for production requirements
\n\tPerform tooling repairs and servicing according to company standards and guidelines
\n\tFlush and clean tooling after production runs
\n\tComplete all required repair and defect reporting documentation
\n\tReport deviations and concerns to management
\n\tMaintain Toolroom equipment, machinery, and 5S standards<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tN3 qualification plus Trade Certificate
\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience as a qualified Toolmaker within an injection moulding environment
\n\tStrong technical knowledge of the injection moulding industry
\n\tExperience working with large moulds up to 50 tons
\n\tKnowledge of hot runners, grained surfaces, and 2K materials
\n\tUnderstanding of injection moulding processes and settings to assist with fault finding and problem solving
\n\tWillingness to work shifts
\n\tHeavy Duty Crane License will be advantageous
