What You\u2019ll Be Doing:<\/p>\n
Labour Relations<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures, chair hearings, and present fair outcomes.
\n\tEnsure timely completion of Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures.
\n\tMonitor and uphold adherence to Policies and Procedures, addressing non-compliance.
\n\tUpdate and maintain Disciplinary Records.
\n\tPrepare and submit Employee Relations Reports.
\n\tSupport, train and advise Line managers on all Human Resources policies and procedures.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Administration<\/p>\n
\tComplete leave planning in accordance with company policies and procedures.
\n\tMonitor Sick Leave and Family Responsibility Leave compliance.
\n\tManage staff loan application processes.
\n\tFacilitate the ordering, marking, issuing, and cleaning of staff uniforms.
\n\tAdminister and follow up on Injury on Duty (IOD) Claims.
\n\tPrepare and submit HR Reports (e.g., IR, Leave).
\n\tAssist payroll with employee time calculations.<\/p>\n
Recruitment and termination<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate with Line Managers on recruitment needs and vacancies.
\n\tScreen and shortlist candidates for the Interviewing panel.
\n\tArrange and participate in interviews and inform applicants of outcomes.
\n\tCoordinate the completion and submission of recruitment paperwork.\u00a0
\n\tAdminister employee terminations.<\/p>\n
Counselling<\/p>\n
\tCounsel employees on personal and work-related matters.
\n\tRefer employees to other resources if required.<\/p>\n
Employee Benefits<\/p>\n
\tEnsure consistent and accurate implementation of employee benefits and payroll.
\n\tAddress benefit-related queries from employees.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
What We Are Looking For:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or B Degree in Human Resources or related field
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License
\n\t5 years\u2019 experience as an HR Generalist
\n\tProficient in MS Office
\n\tAdvanced understanding of all relevant legislation e.g. Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Condition of Employment Act (BCEA), Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COID), Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS), etc.
\n\tUnderstanding of HR Systems
\n\tUnderstanding of basic business principles<\/p>\n
