\tA Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. All base qualifications must be in Mechanical Engineering.
\n\tAt least two (2) years lecturing experience or two (2) years relevant industrial experience.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas \/ Principal Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tLecture on the Extended Curriculum Programme (ECP) in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering
\n\tParticipate in academic development and administration
\n\tParticipate in curriculum and programme development\u00a0
\n\tParticipate in Quality Assurance Activities
\n\tParticipate in research activities
\n\tAssisting students with projects and productions
\n\tContribution to co-ordination of student projects and productions
\n\tContribution to departmental projects and productions
\n\tContribution to departmental WIL and service-learning projects and activities
\n\tDevelop and maintain linkages with industry and professional bodies
\n\tSupervise and mentor both undergraduate and postgraduate students
\n\tAssist with marketing and recruitment activities
\n\tPerform other academic and support functions as may be required by the Head of Department
\n\tAttend conferences and publish in accredited journals or conference proceedings as required by the university for academics<\/p>\n
