\tSalesworx is proud to partner with one of South Africa\u2019s leading meat processing and distribution companies. We are seeking exceptional telephone sales professionals from within the meat processing or food industry who bring a strong track record and an established network.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Sales Generation:<\/p>\n
\tProactively make outbound calls to potential customers and respond to inbound inquiries.
\n\tPromote and sell products or services to meet or exceed sales targets.<\/p>\n
Customer Engagement:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.<\/p>\n
Consultative Selling:<\/p>\n
\tUnderstand client needs and offer appropriate product or service solutions.
\n\tProvide clear information and answer questions or concerns.<\/p>\n
Representation:<\/p>\n
\tRepresent the company professionally in all communications, reflecting its values and commitment to quality.<\/p>\n
Lead Management:<\/p>\n
\tQualify and manage leads.
\n\tEnsure all opportunities are followed up and tracked through the sales process.<\/p>\n
Record Keeping:<\/p>\n
\tAccurately document customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.<\/p>\n
Performance Reporting:<\/p>\n
\tReport on sales metrics, customer feedback, and challenges.
\n\tProvide insights to improve sales strategies.<\/p>\n
Collaboration:<\/p>\n
\tWork with internal teams (marketing, customer service, product development) to align on sales strategies and relay customer insights.<\/p>\n
In-Person Engagement:<\/p>\n
\tAttend occasional in-person meetings to strengthen client relationships and address specific needs.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Skills & Experience Required:<\/p>\n
\tProven experience in telesales or a representative role (5+ years preferred)
\n\tTrack record of achieving sales targets
\n\tFMCG sales\/marketing experience advantageous
\n\tExcellent verbal communication and active listening skills
\n\tAbility to build rapport professionally and confidently
\n\tStrong knowledge of company products and services
\n\tGoal\u2011oriented with consistent achievement of targets
\n\tProficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office<\/p>\n
