Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Offshore Specialist (Glacier International) will be responsible in supporting the Glacier International distribution structures in maintaining and growing an international investment intermediary portfolio and increasing the Sanlam Group\u2019s market share of international business.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Outcomes<\/p>\n
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Offshore Specialist – GI:<\/p>\n
\tNew business and increased retention of existing investment business
\n\tProfitable annual sales volumes and monthly targets, by directly and actively growing and managing an intermediary portfolio
\n\tImplementing a business plan for the region (sales volumes, investment education and training, marketing and client services \u2013 administration)<\/p>\n
Implementing an intermediary support model to facilitate effective and efficient support between GI, the intermediary and the various\u00a0Sanlam Group product providers by:<\/p>\n
\tSupplying accurate investment, product, fund, service and investor information
\n\tTraining and developing the intermediary and office staff
\n\tSupporting investment projects and campaigns (marketing support)
\n\tParticipating in investment product implementation (presentations, product development & client service support)
\n\tPractice Management (facilitate or identify broker needs \u2013 technology, reporting and developing a profitable practice)
\n\tCo-ordinate and maintain effective SLA\u2019s with all relevant stakeholders
\n\tEnsure adherence to all regulatory requirements (e.g. FAIS, FICA)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\t5 plus years\u2019 experience in a financial distribution in investments environment
\n\tRelevant financial\/ investment qualification (Financial tertiary qualification)
\n\tEstablished relationships in the region is an advantage
\n\tSupport and developing of intermediary (IFA) practices
\n\tFully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
\n\tTechnical knowledge about international investments, investment industry and trends
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License and own reliable vehicle
\n\tMust be willing to travel\u00a0<\/p>\n
