A well-established courier and logistics environment based in Kempton Park requires an experienced Debtors Controller to manage and maintain the full debtor\u2019s function with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tTo effectively manage the debtor\u2019s book by ensuring accurate invoicing, allocation of payments, resolution of queries, and timely collection of outstanding balances in line with company policies and agreed payment terms.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS
\nMinimum education (essential):<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate<\/p>\n
Minimum applicable experience (years):<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a courier\/logistics debtors\u2019 environment<\/p>\n
Required nature of experience:<\/p>\n
\tDebtors control \/ accounts receivable experience
\n\tInvoice and credit note processing
\n\tCustomer account reconciliation and statement preparation
\n\tHandling of debtor queries and collections follow-ups
\n\tAllocation of payments (cash, EFT, card, cheque)<\/p>\n

\tProcess invoices and credit notes accurately
\n\tEnsure correct allocation of payments to debtor accounts
\n\tMaintain up-to-date customer account records
\n\tManage daily debtor transactions<\/p>\n
Reconciliations & Account Control<\/p>\n
\tReconcile debtor accounts and ensure accuracy of balances
\n\tMonitor control accounts and resolve discrepancies
\n\tMaintain allocated debtors book integrity
\n\tInvestigate and resolve unallocated deposits<\/p>\n
Collections & Customer Liaison<\/p>\n
\tFollow up on outstanding payments timeously
\n\tLiaise with customers regarding overdue accounts
\n\tEscalate non-payment cases for collection action
\n\tMaintain strong customer service relationships<\/p>\n
Reporting & Statements<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and distribute monthly customer statements
\n\tMaintain accurate debtor reports
\n\tProvide management with updates on overdue accounts
\n\tEnsure reporting deadlines are met<\/p>\n
Queries & Support Functions<\/p>\n
\tResolve invoice and payment-related queries
\n\tSupport internal departments with debtor-related information
\n\tEnsure efficient handling of customer disputes
