RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tReceive seed-lots for treatment and confirm type of treatment is correct.
\n\tCheck \/ verify quantities, kins, varieties, seed size and lot numbers of seed received for treatment against the information supplied on the transfer.
\n\tAccurately weigh \/ check weigh containers according to prescribed procedures after application.
\n\tClose and label containers \/ bags of processed \/ treated seed according to prescribed procedures.
\n\tStack \/ pack containers \/ bags with processed \/ treated seed according to prescribed procedures.
\n\tAssist with sealing (when applicable) of processed \/ treated seed according to prescribed procedures.
\n\tEnsure that all procedures as per appropriate checklists are accurately followed.
\n\tClean all equipment thoroughly before and after each application, ensuring no traces or residue of previous treatments remain.
\n\tPresent documentation (job card) to Supervisor for final reconciliation, approval, and sign off.
\n\tOperate the cleaning, treatment equipment after appropriate settings have been finalised by Supervisor.
\n\tClean the relevant equipment before and after use.
\n\tMaintain high levels of hygiene surrounding the work area.
\n\tPresenting of job card to supervisor for approval and sign-off, before forwarded to next step in the process.
\n\tEnsure that seed is treated according to prescribed protocols and standards.
\n\tAssist with quality control of packaging material i.e., labels, bags, cartons, packets, etc. in conjunction with the Supervisor.
\n\tEnsure that quality control procedures, and instructions, are adhered to.
\n\tDaily Checklist to be completed on equipment in an accurate and thorough manner.<\/p>\n
