{"id":37239,"date":"2026-06-07T14:00:35","date_gmt":"2026-06-07T14:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/human-resources-officer-hr-officer\/"},"modified":"2026-06-07T14:00:43","modified_gmt":"2026-06-07T14:00:43","slug":"human-resources-officer-hr-officer","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/human-resources-officer-hr-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Human Resources Officer (HR Officer)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Industrial Relations &amp; Employee Relations<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance with all relevant labour legislation, including the Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Employment Equity Act (EEA), Skills Development Act, and applicable Bargaining Council agreements.<br \/>\n\tAdvise management on employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, grievances, and labour law compliance.<br \/>\n\tInvestigate and resolve employee grievances and workplace disputes.<br \/>\n\tFoster positive employee relations and support employee engagement initiatives.<br \/>\n\tAssist with consultations relating to misconduct, incapacity, poor performance, and operational requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Disciplinary &amp; Performance Management<\/p>\n<p>\tFacilitate and coordinate disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies and labour legislation.<br \/>\n\tDraft warnings, notices, disciplinary documentation, and hearing outcomes.<br \/>\n\tChair or support disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings, and incapacity enquiries.<br \/>\n\tGuide managers on corrective action, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate records of all disciplinary and performance-related matters.<\/p>\n<p>CCMA, Bargaining Council &amp; Legal Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tManage referrals, disputes, and cases at the CCMA and relevant Bargaining Councils.<br \/>\n\tPrepare case files, witness statements, evidence bundles and supporting documentation.<br \/>\n\tRepresent the company or assist legal representatives during conciliations and arbitrations.<br \/>\n\tMonitor developments in labour legislation and ensure company compliance.<br \/>\n\tMitigate legal risks through proactive employee relations management.<\/p>\n<p>HR Administration &amp; Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.<br \/>\n\tPrepare monthly HR reports and management reports.<br \/>\n\tEmployment offers, contracts, and onboarding processes.<br \/>\n\tAdminister leave, absenteeism, probation reviews, and employee movements.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all HR documentation is compliant, updated, and securely maintained.<br \/>\n\tAssist with HR audits and compliance reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Employment Equity &amp; Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the implementation and monitoring of Employment Equity initiatives.<br \/>\n\tAssist with Employment Equity reporting and submissions.<br \/>\n\tPromote diversity, inclusion, and fair employment practices.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Payroll Support &amp; Employee Benefits<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide accurate payroll inputs and employee data to the payroll department.<br \/>\n\tAssist employees with benefit-related queries.<br \/>\n\tMonitor leave balances and employee records.<br \/>\n\tEnsure payroll-related documentation is submitted accurately and timeously.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tDiploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related field.<\/p>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum 3\u20134 year&#8217;s HR Officer experience.<br \/>\n\tProven experience in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations.<br \/>\n\tExperience handling disciplinary hearings, grievances, and CCMA matters.<br \/>\n\tExperience within the Automotive, Motor Industry, Retail, Logistics, or Multi-Site Operations environment will be advantageous.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>bluespecholdings.mcidirecthire.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/bluespecholdings.mcidirecthire.com","_company_name":"Bluespec Holdings","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Bluespecs mission to redress the injustices of the past makes us a natural partner for corporate companies looking to effect similar change.
