\tWe are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our demand planning team within our Supply Chain department. The purpose of this role is to create realistic demand forecasts by product category to enable the supply chain planning process to function optimally in collaboration with customers, sales and operational teams<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nRequired Qualifications \/ Experience<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree or diploma in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
\n\t3 – 5 years experience in a demand planning position
\n\t3 – 5 years experience in a manufacturing, or FMCG environment (advantageous)
\n\tSAP and other planning tools experience (advantageous)
\n\tStrong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
\n\tAble to collaborate across multiple teams<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nJob Specification<\/p>\n
\tProvide support in the demand planning and management process for new and existing products.
\n\tDevelop product demand plans
\n\tProvide support in developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customers reactions to promotions.
\n\tDevelop demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
\n\tIdentify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.
\n\tCondition historical sales data to improve accuracy of forecasts.
\n\tProvide support of the demand planning model, its stability and accuracy.
\n\tEnsure all material forecasts are accurately reviewed, maintained and extended on a monthly basis.
\n\tMaintain demand planning processes to improve forecasting accuracy
\n\tProvide support into annual budget planning process
\n\tCollaborate closely with all internal and external stakeholders<\/p>\n
