providing effective support to the JHB region, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee records management, fostering employee engagement, and supporting the creation of a you will bring<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric Certified<br \/>\n\tSolid Computer Proficiency<br \/>\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License (Code 08)<br \/>\n\tWillingness to travel to regional offices when as and when required<br \/>\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, or a related field preferred<br \/>\n\t5+ years of HR generalist experience with a focus on high level recruitment<br \/>\n\t3-5 years of experience working on SAGE People or similar HRIS platforms.<br \/>\n\tAbility to work independently and manage multiple HR functions simultaneously<\/p>\n<p>Additional demonstrable requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tProficiency in all Microsoft systems with the ability to learn our systems swiftly<br \/>\n\tExceptional verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\n\tAbility to extract and analyze HR data for strategic reporting.<br \/>\n\tExcellent project management and organizational skills.<br \/>\n\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills for culture campaigns and stakeholder engagement.<br \/>\n\tHigh level of attention to detail and adherence to compliance requirements.<br \/>\n\tAbility to conduct interviews and onboard employees effectively<br \/>\n\tStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.<br \/>\n\tAdvanced working knowledge of SAGE People and HRIS platforms, including reporting, workflow management, and data analysis.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What you will be doing<\/p>\n<p>Employee Contracts: First Point of Checking in HR<\/p>\n<p>\tAct as the primary HR contact for all employee contracts<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all contracts are fully completed, signed, and accurate before submitting to payroll.<br \/>\n\tMaintain employee file documentation per the company checklist, including employment contracts, statutory documents, and proof of induction.<br \/>\n\tElectronically upload and organize files for easy access and payroll processing.<br \/>\n\tConduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company documentation policies<\/p>\n<p>ETI (Employment Tax Incentive) Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance with the ETI process, which includes reviewing ETI forms submitted by HR officers as signed by regional directors\/GMs.<br \/>\n\tGenerate a monthly report highlighting employment exceptions, including employees aged over 27.<br \/>\n\tPresent ETI compliance reports for MANCO meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment and Induction for Admin, Sage Employees, and Managers<\/p>\n<p>\tManage the entire recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to conducting interviews and onboarding.<br \/>\n\tMaintain an updated talent pipeline of CVs for critical positions within the business.<br \/>\n\tConduct thorough induction sessions, ensuring employees have a workstation, equipment and training is scheduled on our relevant systems<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with line managers to identify training other needs for new recruits.<\/p>\n<p>HR Statistics Extraction and Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tExtract, compile, and present accurate HR statistics, including recruitment, ETI, IR cases, and other key HR metrics.<br \/>\n\tUpdate and maintain weekly trackers for key HR such as recruitment activities, and other important processes.<br \/>\n\tProvide regular reports for MANCO and other senior management presentations.<\/p>\n<p>Site Mobilization<\/p>\n<p>\tServe as the HR point of contact for site mobilization when new contracts are awarded.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in client meetings to establish whether the current staff complement will be retained or new hires are required.<br \/>\n\tEnsure thorough checks are conducted on current staff before committing to client staff takeovers.<\/p>\n<p>Support on HR Automation<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate closely with developers to ensure HR workflows are automated and up-to-date.<br \/>\n\tIdentify inefficiencies in current processes and propose automation solutions to improve HR operations.<br \/>\n\tProvide ongoing support, training, and guidance to managers and employees on SAGE People functionality, including performance management.<br \/>\n\tGenerate and analyse reports from SAGE People to support business decision-making and workforce planning.<\/p>\n<p>Position Management, KPIs, and Performance Management Support<\/p>\n<p>\tWork closely with line managers to ensure employees have accurate reporting lines, job descriptions, and KPIs.<br \/>\n\tAssist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including setting goals and conducting appraisals.<br \/>\n\tProvide ongoing training to line managers on SAGE, KPI management, and performance evaluation best practices<\/p>\n<p>Drafting and Updating HR Policies<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop, review, and update HR policies and procedures as required by the business.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all policies align with labour legislation, company values, and operational needs.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with relevant stakeholders for input and approval before implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Project Management and HR Initiatives<\/p>\n<p>\tLead and coordinate HR projects and initiatives across the business, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and objectives.<br \/>\n\tDevelop project plans, monitor progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tDrive continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.<\/p>\n<p>Employment Equity and Transformation<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinate and support the implementation of the company&#8217;s Employment Equity Plan and transformation objectives.<br \/>\n\tMonitor Employment Equity targets and provide regular progress reports to management.<br \/>\n\tAssist with the preparation and submission of Employment Equity reports to the DOL<br \/>\n\tAnalyse workforce demographics and identify opportunities to improve equitable representation across all occupational levels.<br \/>\n\tPartner with management during recruitment, promotions, and talent management processes to support Employment Equity objectives.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in Employment Equity Committee meetings and provide administrative and reporting support.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with all legislative requirements relating to
