Overview:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to oversee all aspects of purchasing and procurement for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage vendor relationships.
\n\tThe Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, obtaining competitive quotes, and ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
\n\tSource, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, delivery times, and cost
\n\tNegotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms
\n\tMonitor and track vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
\n\tProcess purchase orders and manage all procurement activities in a timely manner
\n\tMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
\n\tPrepare reports and analysis on procurement activities for management review
\n\tEnsure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures
\n\tStay current on industry trends and best practices in procurement<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
\n\tMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
\n\tStrong negotiation and communication skills
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
\n\tAbility to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
\n\tKnowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies
\n\tDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
\n\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tCertification in procurement or supply chain management
\n\tExperience working in a similar industry or organization
\n\tKnowledge of contract management and supplier relationship management<\/p>\n
