Job Description<\/p>\n
\tEstablished manufacturing business seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the Finance Department across multiple group companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting operational finance functions, and ensuring all bookkeeping responsibilities are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
\n\tThe Bookkeeper will report directly to the Senior Financial Manager and will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain debtor and creditor accounts
\n\tProcess bookkeeping functions up to Trial Balance
\n\tPerform bank reconciliations
\n\tManage and reconcile petty cash
\n\tProcess SARS submissions including VAT and PAYE
\n\tLoad and prepare payments on the banking platform
\n\tMaintain the General Ledger and prepare trial balance reconciliations
\n\tAssist with stock-related reconciliations, inventory reporting, and financial tracking
\n\tExtract financial data and prepare reports when required
\n\tProduce monthly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports
\n\tMaintain organised and accurate filing systems for financial records
\n\tAssist the finance team with additional administrative and accounting tasks when required<\/p>\n

\tSage Pastel Evolution ERP<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant accounting \/ bookkeeping qualification (Diploma preferred)
\n\tMinimum 3\u20135 years bookkeeping experience
\n\tExperience working up to Trial Balance
\n\tStrong knowledge of Pastel Evolution
\n\tSolid understanding of VAT, PAYE, and SARS submissions
\n\tStrong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
\n\tExposure to manufacturing, stock control, or cost accounting advantageous<\/p>\n
