About the Role<\/p>\n
\tThis role is responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination, handling, and distribution maize, wheat and pasta products from the warehouse to customers. You will play a key part in the daily logistics process \u2014 from receiving and loading stock to verifying orders and ensuring accurate, on-time deliveries.
\n\tThe position requires someone who can manage stock and crate control with precision, coordinate routes and schedules effectively, and maintain high standards of customer service. You will work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and administration teams to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
\n\tIt\u2019s a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy and service excellence.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ NQF 4
\n\tPrevious experience in a similar role (essential)
\n\tStrong understanding of stock control
\n\tNumerate and accurate
\n\tExperience on Navision (advantageous)
\n\tClear criminal record
\n\tWillingness to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, and night shifts
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License
\n\tForklift license (advantageous)<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tReceive and off-load products from the warehouse
\n\tLoad products safely and efficiently onto transport vehicles
\n\tCoordinate daily orders, deliveries, loading schedules, and administrative tasks
\n\tReview and consolidate orders and route deliveries for accuracy
\n\tManage stock and crate control, including stock rotation and tracking
\n\tConsolidate route orders into single delivery plans
\n\tPlace daily stock replacement orders timeously
\n\tVerify sales orders
\n\tOptimize route and fleet planning
\n\tRecord daily deliveries and maintain accurate delivery documentation
\n\tEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery
\n\tMaintain effective stock and inventory control<\/p>\n
