A Leading Company specialising in providing affordable housing and security estates for lower to middle income groups is looking for a Senior Foreman Finishing for their projects in Somerset West, Cape Town.<\/p>\n
Requirements for the position:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum NQF4\/5 TJEKA.
\n\tAdvantageous: NQF6 TJEKA, Red Seal Certificate, MBA, Safety, Risk on Site, Working at Heights, Setting Out.
\n\tMinimum of 10 years related experience in the Construction\/Engineering environment.
\n\tFinishing & Wet Trades Experience
\n\tSetting out and levelling.
\n\tKnowledge of:
\n\tConstruction processes and applicable trades.
\n\tMaterials, plant, and equipment.
\n\tSite administration systems.
\n\tStaff supervision and basic IR Numerical orientation.
\n\tSafety requirements and safety and health legislation.<\/p>\n
Main Responsibilities (but not limited to these only):<\/p>\n
\tSupervise daily on-site operations.
\n\tCoordinate labour, subcontractors, and materials.
\n\tEnsure projects are completed on time and to standard.
\n\tEnforce health and safety regulations.
\n\tReport progress to project management<\/p>\n
