A well-established company based in Springfield, Durban is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator \/ Creditors Clerk to join their team.
\n\tThe successful candidate will be responsible for handling both routine and ad-hoc financial and creditors-related duties to support the smooth running of the finance department.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTracking creditors in entirety, involving invoice\/statement processing, reconciliation of accounts, following up on account queries, payment allocations, capturing payments and whatever is needed in between as well as pre\/post this process (e.g. managing of credit applications etc.)
\n\tHandling of ad-hoc payments and routine payment schedules (as well as capturing).
\n\tExtracting and monitoring month-end figures for branches\/companies
\n\tMonitoring of daily EFT payments
\n\tTracking monthly municipal billing
\n\tCapturing invoices on SAGE and liaising with customers\/suppliers
\n\tMiscellaneous tasks that may arise as and when to support business needs. As the business grows, so does its needs and thus the candidate must be willing to take on challenges and show initiative in tasks that support the business and its stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAccounting and financial reporting knowledge
\n\tAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in accounting\/finance field
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tMulti-tasking and prioritizing in a pressurized environment
\n\tERP systems SAGE Evolution knowledge and experience
\n\tProactiveness
\n\tAbility to keep to deadlines
\n\tFinancial analysis
\n\tFinancial reporting
\n\tMicrosoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
\n\tSelf-driven with high levels of initiative
\n\tTrustworthy
\n\tTeam player<\/p>\n
